Kesar Digum places great importance on providing equal service to all of its customers, and works to make its website accessible so that it is available, convenient and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We believe that every person deserves the right to live with dignity, equality and independence, and we work to apply this principle in the digital space as well.
Our Commitment to Accessibility
The site is made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013. Accessibility is implemented in accordance with Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.0 at level AA.
The Site's Accessibility Level
We work to ensure that the site meets accessibility level AA. Among other measures, the following principles have been implemented on the site:
- A clear, hierarchical heading structure that allows convenient navigation with a screen reader.
- The ability to navigate and operate the site using the keyboard, without relying on a mouse.
- Alternative text (alt) for images and meaningful graphic elements.
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background to improve readability.
- Accessible forms with clear labels for every field.
- Compatibility with reading on modern browsers and mobile devices.
The Accessibility Widget on the Site
At the bottom of the site, on the left side, there is a fixed accessibility button (a person icon inside a circle). Clicking it opens a menu that lets you personalize the site's display. The preferences you select are saved and stay with you across every page of the site. The menu includes, among other options:
- Increasing and decreasing the size of the text and the display.
- Enhancing contrast, inverting colors and grayscale display.
- Highlighting links and making them stand out on the page.
- Switching to a more readable font with increased spacing.
- Enlarging the mouse cursor.
- Stopping animations and motion on the site.
- A quick reset of all settings to their defaults.
Known Accessibility Limitations
We make an ongoing effort to improve the site's accessibility. Even so, there may be parts or content that are not yet fully accessible, or third-party components that are not entirely under our control. If you come across a component or content that is not accessible, we would be glad if you contact us - we will address it as soon as possible.
